Auction result misses estimated price range
In October this year a collector was able to acquire the work Scenery from Kandestederne by Skagen by Johannes Wilhjelm for DKK 4,000.00 (€ 535.96). This price was achieved in the auction Northern Light - the Artists' Colony at Skagen at Bruun Rasmussen in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of DKK 8,000.00 – 10,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johannes Wilhjelm achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work On Skagen Beach in June 2003 with an auction result of GBP 11,352.50 (€ 16,314.16).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Scenery from Kandestederne by Skagen von Johannes Wilhjelm für DKK 4.000,00 (€ 535,96) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Northern Light - the Artists' Colony at Skagen bei Bruun Rasmussen in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 8.000,00 – 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Johannes Wilhjelm erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit On Skagen Beach im Juni 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 11.352,50 (€ 16.314,16).
