The work Fishing houses at Skagen Nordstrand by Johannes Wilhjelm was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in Stockholm in October this year. The auction ended at the price of DKK 8,000.00 (€ 1,071.92), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of DKK 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johannes Wilhjelm achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work On Skagen Beach in June 2003 with an auction result of GBP 11,352.50 (€ 16,314.16).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Fishing houses at Skagen Nordstrand von Johannes Wilhjelm kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen in Stockholm zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von DKK 8.000,00 (€ 1.071,92) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Johannes Wilhjelm erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit On Skagen Beach im Juni 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 11.352,50 (€ 16.314,16).
