Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of GBP 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 896.25 (€ 1,326.46). Admittedly, works by Johannes Warnardus Bilders have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A country idyll in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 9,600.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit On The Riverside Path von Johannes Warnardus Bilders kam im August 2004 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 896,25 (€ 1.326,46) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Johannes Warnardus Bilders auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A country idyll im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 9.600,00.
