A top price for Johannes Rian - as previously expected
The work Norwegian seated Girl by Johannes Rian was sold in the European Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in November 2011. It changed hands for a price of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 13,133.22) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Norwegian seated Girl is the most expensive artwork by Johannes Rian that we have observed at auctions so far.
