Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work A panoramic landscape with Haarlem in the distance by Johannes Pieter van Wisselingh for EUR 60.00. This price was achieved in the auction Clocks, Furniture and Works of Art from the Venema Collection at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 600.00 – 800.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johannes Pieter van Wisselingh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Skaters in a Dutch winter landscape in June 2004 with an auction result of GBP 3,824.00 (€ 5,691.26).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2006 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A panoramic landscape with Haarlem in the distance von Johannes Pieter van Wisselingh für EUR 60,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Clocks, Furniture and Works of Art from the Venema Collection bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Johannes Pieter van Wisselingh erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Skaters in a Dutch winter landscape im Juni 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.824,00 (€ 5.691,26).
