Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Dutch rotterdam, With The Laurenskerk In The Background by Johannes Christiaan Karel Klinkenberg for GBP 13,750.00 (€ 16,938.60). This price was achieved in the auction 19th Century European Paintings at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johannes Christiaan Karel Klinkenberg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A bustling Prins Hendrikkade with the St. Nicolaas church and the Schreierstoren, Amsterdam in October 2005 with an auction result of EUR 269,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Dutch rotterdam, With The Laurenskerk In The Background von Johannes Christiaan Karel Klinkenberg für GBP 13.750,00 (€ 16.938,60) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 19th Century European Paintings bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Johannes Christiaan Karel Klinkenberg erzielen.
