In July 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale, which included the work Still Life Of Apples, Pears, Peaches And Plums With Grapes And Walnuts In A Wicker Basket, Together With Flowers, Including Tulips, Irises And Carnations In A Blue And White Vase Upon A Table Top by Johannes Baers. The price achieved of GBP 47,500.00 (€ 67,339.05) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00.
