Here, the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 21,850.00 (€ 22,394.18). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Johann Wilhelm Baur - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work View Of The Villa D'Este And Gardens, Tivoli, which sold at auction in January 2009 for USD 98,500.00 (€ 76,929.08).

Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 21.850,00 (€ 22.394,18) einen neuen Besitzer.
