Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Panorama d'une partie des Alpes Bernoises pris sur l'Aeggischhorn dans le Canton du Valais by Johann Rudolf Dill was auctioned at Christies in London in September 2007. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,125.00 (€ 1,613.17) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johann Rudolf Dill achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Panorama des Alpes, pris sur le Gornergrat près Zermatt au Canton du Valais in April 2011 with an auction result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,154.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Panorama d'une partie des Alpes Bernoises pris sur l'Aeggischhorn dans le Canton du Valais von Johann Rudolf Dill kam im September 2007 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.125,00 (€ 1.613,17) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Johann Rudolf Dill erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Panorama des Alpes, pris sur le Gornergrat près Zermatt au Canton du Valais im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 28.154,31).
