Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2009 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master & British Paintings Evening Sale, which included the work Venice, A View Of The Molo, Looking West Towards Santa Maria Della Salute And The Palazzo Ducale To The Right by Johann Richter. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 100,000.00 – 150,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 109,250.00 (€ 123,237.84) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Johann Richter - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Venice, The Piazzetta Looking North-West Towards The Campanile, With The Biblioteca, The Procuratie Vecchie, The Torre Dell'Orologio And Numerous Figures In Carnival Costume And A Man In Polish Dress , which sold at auction in July 2017 for GBP 368,750.00 (€ 411,468.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2009 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master & British Paintings Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Venice, A View Of The Molo, Looking West Towards Santa Maria Della Salute And The Palazzo Ducale To The Right von Johann Richter zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 109.250,00 (€ 123.237,84) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
