The »bidding war« ended at EUR 780.00 30% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johann Jakob Frey achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rinderhirten am Fluss vor einer weiten Landschaft. in April 2011 with an auction result of CHF 108,000.00 (€ 84,084.20).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 780,00 und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Johann Jakob Frey erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rinderhirten am Fluss vor einer weiten Landschaft. im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 108.000,00 (€ 84.084,20).
