In February 2010 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Old Master & 19th Century Paintings, Drawings and Prints, which included the work Les Petits Métiers Ambulants by Johann Georg Trautmann. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 6,196.00. With this result, Les Petits Métiers Ambulants is even the most expensive work of art by Johann Georg Trautmann that we have observed at auctions so far.
