In November 2013 Grisebach held the auction Auktionen 215-221 - Kunst des 19. Jahrhunderts, which included the work Baumstudie. by Johann Christoph Erhard. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,500.00 50% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Johann Christoph Erhard - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Rom, bei Torre quinto an d. Tiber, which sold at auction in May 2003 for EUR 5,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Im November 2013 führte Grisebach die Auktion Auktionen 215-221 - Kunst des 19. Jahrhunderts durch, in der auch die Arbeit Baumstudie. von Johann Christoph Erhard zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.500,00 und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Johann Christoph Erhard mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Rom, bei Torre quinto an d. Tiber beobachtet, die im Mai 2003 für EUR 5.750,00 versteigert wurde.
