Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2000 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction DUTCH, FLEMISH AND GERMAN OLD MASTER DRAWINGS, which included the work A tree in a hilly landscape by Johann Christian Klengel. Here, the upper estimate of NLG 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for NLG 2,106.36 (€ 986.80). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johann Christian Klengel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of Prince Alexander Mikhailovich Beloselsky And His Family In A Landscape in January 2014 with an auction result of USD 75,000.00 (€ 55,555.56).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2000 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion DUTCH, FLEMISH AND GERMAN OLD MASTER DRAWINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit A tree in a hilly landscape von Johann Christian Klengel zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von NLG 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für NLG 2.106,36 (€ 986,80) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Johann Christian Klengel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait Of Prince Alexander Mikhailovich Beloselsky And His Family In A Landscape im Januar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 75.000,00 (€ 55.555,56).
