In December 2005 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art including Russian Pictures, which included the work Refreshment on the southern Italian coast by Johann Baptiste Heinefetter. The price achieved of GBP 2,400.00 (€ 3,483.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00.
