Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2005 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art including Russian Pictures, which included the work Refreshment on the southern Italian coast by Johann Baptiste Heinefetter. The price achieved of GBP 2,400.00 (€ 3,483.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Other works by Johann Baptiste Heinefetter have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2007 the work Borgo In Baviera was auctioned for EUR 4,750.00.

Im Dezember 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art including Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Refreshment on the southern Italian coast von Johann Baptiste Heinefetter zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.400,00 (€ 3.483,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Johann Baptiste Heinefetter konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember 2007 die Arbeit Borgo In Baviera für EUR 4.750,00 versteigert.
