Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Satyrs and nymphs by Johan Tobias Sergel was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2015. It achieved a price of SEK 30,000.00 (€ 3,240.99), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johan Tobias Sergel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Achilles" (”Achilles i Lykomedes hof”) in June this year with an auction result of SEK 420,000.00 (€ 35,653.85).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Satyrs and nymphs von Johan Tobias Sergel kam im Juni 2015 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von SEK 30.000,00 (€ 3.240,99) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Johan Tobias Sergel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Achilles" (”Achilles i Lykomedes hof”) im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 420.000,00 (€ 35.653,85).
