Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2006 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work A still life with a jug, sweet william in a vase and a hat by Johan Ponsioen. The price achieved of EUR 9,600.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Other works by Johan Ponsioen have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2007 the work Dutch Stilleven was auctioned for EUR 9,850.00.

Im September 2006 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit A still life with a jug, sweet william in a vase and a hat von Johan Ponsioen zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 9.600,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Johan Ponsioen konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember 2007 die Arbeit Dutch Stilleven für EUR 9.850,00 versteigert.
