Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Still Life with Flowers by Johan Laurentz Jensen was auctioned at Bukowski in December this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 25,000.00 – 30,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 18,000.00 (€ 1,619.06). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johan Laurentz Jensen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Danish Stilleben Med Blomster I Græsk Vase (Still Life With Flowers In A Greek Vase) in May 2008 with an auction result of GBP 90,500.00 (€ 115,119.96).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Still Life with Flowers von Johan Laurentz Jensen im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Bukowski versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 25.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 18.000,00 (€ 1.619,06) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Johan Laurentz Jensen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Danish Stilleben Med Blomster I Græsk Vase (Still Life With Flowers In A Greek Vase) im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 90.500,00 (€ 115.119,96).
