Auction result misses estimated price range
In December last year a collector was able to acquire the work Farm idyll with apple trees and pecking hens by Johan Krouthén for SEK 50,000.00 (€ 4,482.15). This price was achieved in the auction Important Winter Sale at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 60,000.00 – 80,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Johan Krouthén have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Girl with umbrella in December 2021 with an auction result of SEK 400,000.00 (€ 39,017.49).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Farm idyll with apple trees and pecking hens von Johan Krouthén für SEK 50.000,00 (€ 4.482,15) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Important Winter Sale bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Johan Krouthén auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Girl with umbrella im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 400.000,00 (€ 39.017,49).
