Despite a disappointment, a good price for Johan Jakob Reinberg
When the work Mating. by Johan Jakob Reinberg was auctioned at Bukowski in Helsinki in May 2014, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 2,600.00. Despite this disappointing result, Mating. is the most expensive artwork by Johan Jakob Reinberg that we have observed at auction so far.

Als die Arbeit Mating. von Johan Jakob Reinberg im Mai 2014 bei Bukowski in Helsinki versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus.
