Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2006 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work A still life with apples and grapes on a pewter plate by Johan van Zweden. The price achieved of EUR 1,080.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 900.00 – 1,200.00. Other works by Johan van Zweden have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2011 the work A still life with apples in a basket was auctioned for EUR 1,375.00.

Im Januar 2006 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit A still life with apples and grapes on a pewter plate von Johan van Zweden zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.080,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 900,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Johan van Zweden konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2011 die Arbeit A still life with apples in a basket für EUR 1.375,00 versteigert.
