Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Johan Ericson achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2021. In the Important Spring Sale auction, the work Moonlit sailing trip sold for SEK 26,000.00 (€ 2,563.13) - well above the upper estimate of SEK 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Johan Ericson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work View from Marstrand, Albrektsunds canal, which sold at auction in December last year for SEK 95,000.00 (€ 8,516.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Johan Ericson erzielte im Juni 2021 bei Bukowski in Stockholm einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Important Spring Sale wurde die Arbeit Moonlit sailing trip für SEK 26.000,00 (€ 2.563,13) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von SEK 12.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Johan Ericson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit View from Marstrand, Albrektsunds canal beobachtet, die im Dezember letzten Jahres für SEK 95.000,00 (€ 8.516,08) versteigert wurde.
