Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Early Works Portfolio, 1964-1972 by Joel Meyerowitz was auctioned at Christies in New York in April 2021. The price achieved of USD 6,000.00 (€ 4,987.53) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Joel Meyerowitz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cezanne'S Studio (Nine Objects) in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 60,000.00 (€ 48,239.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Early Works Portfolio, 1964-1972 von Joel Meyerowitz kam im April 2021 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 4.987,53) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Joel Meyerowitz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cezanne'S Studio (Nine Objects) im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 60.000,00 (€ 48.239,27).
