A top price for Joe Colombo - as previously expected
The work Rare "Mastro" table by Joe Colombo was auctioned at Phillips in New York in December 2006. The price achieved of USD 14,400.00 (€ 10,911.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Rare "Mastro" table is the most expensive artwork by Joe Colombo that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Rare "Mastro" table von Joe Colombo kam im Dezember 2006 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 14.400,00 (€ 10.911,57) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Rare "Mastro" table das teuerste Kunstwerk von Joe Colombo, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
