This artwork by Joaquín Miró achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in June 2013. In the 19th Century European Art auction, the work Figures Bustling Before The Conciergerie, Paris sold for GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,501.54) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Joaquín Miró - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La Porte Saint-Denis, Paris, which sold at auction in September 2005 for GBP 6,240.00 (€ 9,157.66).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Joaquín Miró erzielte im Juni 2013 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 19th Century European Art wurde die Arbeit Figures Bustling Before The Conciergerie, Paris für GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.501,54) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Joaquín Miró mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La Porte Saint-Denis, Paris beobachtet, die im September 2005 für GBP 6.240,00 (€ 9.157,66) versteigert wurde.
