Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2016 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work PUFF! (AFTER A. WARHOL) by Jirapat Tatsanasomboon. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 60,000.00 – 90,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 7,616.04) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Jirapat Tatsanasomboon have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2015 the work Take Me, Please! was auctioned for HKD 106,250.00 (€ 12,467.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2016 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit PUFF! (AFTER A. WARHOL) von Jirapat Tatsanasomboon zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 90.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 7.616,04) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Jirapat Tatsanasomboon konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2015 die Arbeit Take Me, Please! für HKD 106.250,00 (€ 12.467,03) versteigert.
