Upper estimate price exceeded by 87 %.
This artwork by Jing Zhiyong achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in October last year. In the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction, the work Destination Unknown(Painted in 2020) sold for HKD 93,600.00 (€ 11,994.44) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jing Zhiyong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work White Tree (Painted In 2021) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 240,000.00 (€ 245,086.96).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 87 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jing Zhiyong erzielte im Oktober letzten Jahres bei China Guardian einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Destination Unknown(Painted in 2020) für HKD 93.600,00 (€ 11.994,44) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jing Zhiyong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit White Tree (Painted In 2021) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 240.000,00 (€ 245.086,96).
