Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Twelve Poems of Plum Blossom by Jin Shi was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2006. It changed hands for a price of HKD 96,000.00 (€ 9,309.71) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 80,000.00 – 100,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jin Shi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Animals And Flowers, which sold at auction in April 2008 for HKD 367,500.00 (€ 30,286.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Twelve Poems of Plum Blossom von Jin Shi kam im November 2006 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 96.000,00 (€ 9.309,71) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 100.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jin Shi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Animals And Flowers beobachtet, die im April 2008 für HKD 367.500,00 (€ 30.286,65) versteigert wurde.
