The price achieved of USD 391,000.00 (€ 436,481.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 350,000.00 – 450,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Fence (Sydney Close) is the most expensive artwork by Jim Dine that we have observed at auctions so far.
