Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2021 Bonhams in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Dwelling in the Autumn Mountains by Jiang Yun. The price achieved of HKD 12,750.00 (€ 1,444.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 8,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jiang Yun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscapes After Old Masters, 1908 in September 2021 with an auction result of USD 17,812.50 (€ 15,386.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Bonhams in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dwelling in the Autumn Mountains von Jiang Yun zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 12.750,00 (€ 1.444,20) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 8.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jiang Yun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscapes After Old Masters, 1908 im September 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 17.812,50 (€ 15.386,11).
