A top price for Jiang Jiapu - as previously expected
The work Autumn Landscape by Jiang Jiapu was sold in the Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2018. The price achieved of HKD 27,500.00 (€ 3,004.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Autumn Landscape is the most expensive artwork by Jiang Jiapu that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Autumn Landscape von Jiang Jiapu wurde im Mai 2018 in der Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 27.500,00 (€ 3.004,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Autumn Landscape das teuerste Kunstwerk von Jiang Jiapu, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
