This artwork by Jiang Ji'An achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2014. In the Contemporary Asian Art auction, the work Geometry No. 2 sold for HKD 562,500.00 (€ 52,316.15) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 300,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Jiang Ji'An; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Scroll sold at auction in June 2015 with the realized price of CNY 613,600.00 (€ 88,733.80).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Jiang Ji'An erzielte im April 2014 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art wurde die Arbeit Geometry No. 2 für HKD 562.500,00 (€ 52.316,15) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 300.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Jiang Ji'An; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Scroll im Juni 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von CNY 613.600,00 (€ 88.733,80).
