A top price for Jia Haoyi - as previously expected
In December 2013 Sothebys in Beijing held the auction Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art, which included the work Graze by Jia Haoyi. The price achieved of CNY 177,000.00 (€ 21,220.99) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CNY 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Graze is the most expensive artwork by Jia Haoyi that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Dezember 2013 führte Sothebys in Beijing die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Graze von Jia Haoyi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CNY 177.000,00 (€ 21.220,99) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CNY 150.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Graze das teuerste Kunstwerk von Jia Haoyi, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
