Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Vertical Cut (100 x 100) by Jeppe Hein was auctioned at Phillips in New York in December 2020. Here, the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 20,160.00 (€ 16,484.06). Admittedly, works by Jeppe Hein have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 3-Dimensional Circle Illuminated in May this year with an auction result of USD 120,650.00 (€ 113,243.85).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Vertical Cut (100 x 100) von Jeppe Hein kam im Dezember 2020 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 20.160,00 (€ 16.484,06) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jeppe Hein auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 3-Dimensional Circle Illuminated im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 120.650,00 (€ 113.243,85).
