Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2000 Christies in Singapore held the auction SOUTHEAST ASIAN PAINTINGS, which included the work Portrait of Kartini by Jeihan. The price achieved of SGD 7,638 (€ 5,123) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been given by the auction house as SGD 7,000 - 9,000. Other works by Jeihan have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2015 the work was auctioned for HKD 47,500 (€ 5,549).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2000 führte Christies in Singapur die Auktion SOUTHEAST ASIAN PAINTINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait of Kartini von Jeihan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von SGD 7.638 (€ 5.123) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit SGD 7.000 – 9.000 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Jeihan konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2015 die Arbeit für HKD 47.500 (€ 5.549) versteigert.
