Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Eleventh Gestalt Structure by Jeffrey Steele was sold in the Modern British Art Day Sale auction at Christies in London in June 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 12,646.67) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Jeffrey Steele have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2018 the work Lolovo was auctioned for GBP 14,375.00 (€ 16,214.56).

Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 12.646,67) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Jeffrey Steele konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2018 die Arbeit Lolovo für GBP 14.375,00 (€ 16.214,56) versteigert.
