Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Jeff Koons could be acquired at Christies in Paris in September last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Un regard sur le monde : Collection Comte & Comtesse Jean-Jacques de Flers auction, the work Puppy changed hands for EUR 4,800.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jeff Koons achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rabbit in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 91,075,000.00 (€ 81,688,940.71).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jeff Koons konnte im September letzten Jahres bei Christies in Paris für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Un regard sur le monde : Collection Comte & Comtesse Jean-Jacques de Flers wechselte die Arbeit Puppy für EUR 4.800,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jeff Koons erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rabbit im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 91.075.000,00 (€ 81.688.940,71).
