Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Diamond (Red) by Jeff Koons was sold in the Contemporary Curated auction at Sothebys in Milan in July last year. It changed hands for a price of EUR 18,900.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jeff Koons achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rabbit in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 91,075,000.00 (€ 81,688,940.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Diamond (Red) von Jeff Koons wurde im Juli letzten Jahres in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 18.900,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jeff Koons erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rabbit im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 91.075.000,00 (€ 81.688.940,71).
