In August this year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction California Art, which included the work Mountain Valley by Jeanette Maxfield Lewis. Here, the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 5,376.00 (€ 4,959.87). With this result, Mountain Valley is even the most expensive work of art by Jeanette Maxfield Lewis that we have observed at auctions so far.
