This artwork by Jeanne Thil achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in December 2008. In the Orientalist Paintings auction, the work Le Charmeur De Serpent sold for EUR 7,650.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 4,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Jeanne Thil; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot A camel train outside Sousse sold at auction in June 2004 with the realized price of GBP 9,321.00 (€ 13,872.44).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Jeanne Thil erzielte im Dezember 2008 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Orientalist Paintings wurde die Arbeit Le Charmeur De Serpent für EUR 7.650,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 4.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Jeanne Thil; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit A camel train outside Sousse im Juni 2004 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 9.321,00 (€ 13.872,44).
