In March 2015 Artcurial held the auction Old Master & 19th Century Paintings and Drawings, which included the work Portrait De Jeune Garçon Tenant Une Balle by Jeanne-Philiberte Ledoux. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 30,000.00 50% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Jeanne-Philiberte Ledoux; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot A young woman at her toilette sold at auction in October 2006 with the realized price of USD 42,000.00 (€ 32,881.86).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Im März 2015 führte Artcurial die Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Paintings and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait De Jeune Garçon Tenant Une Balle von Jeanne-Philiberte Ledoux zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 30.000,00 und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Jeanne-Philiberte Ledoux; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit A young woman at her toilette im Oktober 2006 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 42.000,00 (€ 32.881,86).
