Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Hamburger Damenkapelle by Jeanne Mammen was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2020. The price achieved of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 41,862.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jeanne Mammen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ausweg in December 2020 with an auction result of EUR 200,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Hamburger Damenkapelle von Jeanne Mammen kam im November 2020 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 41.862,65) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jeanne Mammen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ausweg im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 200.000,00.
