Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Der Garçon Beim Dinner by Jeanne Mammen was sold in the The Golden Twenties: Berlin through the Eyes of Modern Artists auction at Christies in London in November 2020. It changed hands for a price of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,465.66) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jeanne Mammen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ausweg in December 2020 with an auction result of EUR 200,000.00.

Die Arbeit Der Garçon Beim Dinner von Jeanne Mammen wurde im November 2020 in der Auktion The Golden Twenties: Berlin through the Eyes of Modern Artists bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 10.465,66) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jeanne Mammen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ausweg im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 200.000,00.
