Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bierseidelbetrachtung Ii by Jeanne Mammen was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2020. The price achieved of GBP 62,500.00 (€ 69,771.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jeanne Mammen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ausweg, which sold at auction in December 2020 for EUR 200,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bierseidelbetrachtung Ii von Jeanne Mammen kam im November 2020 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 62.500,00 (€ 69.771,09) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jeanne Mammen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ausweg beobachtet, die im Dezember 2020 für EUR 200.000,00 versteigert wurde.
