Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2012 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master & British Paintings, which included the work A Landscape With Two Horsemen Riding Through A Valley; A Landscape With A Shepherd And His Flock In Front Of A Walled Town by Jean-Victor Bertin. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 5,250.00 (€ 6,541.27) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Victor Bertin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Ruins Of The Bridge Of Augustus At Narni in January 2011 with an auction result of USD 92,500.00 (€ 67,444.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2012 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master & British Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Landscape With Two Horsemen Riding Through A Valley; A Landscape With A Shepherd And His Flock In Front Of A Walled Town von Jean-Victor Bertin zur Versteigerung kam.
