Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Aurora by Jean-Simon Berthélemy for USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,602.87). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master Paintings and Sculpture at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Jean-Simon Berthélemy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Les Bourgeois De Calaisjean-Simon Berthélemy ; The Burghers Of Calais ; Signed And Dated Lower Centre ; Oil On Canvas in June 2012 with an auction result of EUR 46,350.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Aurora von Jean-Simon Berthélemy für USD 6.250,00 (€ 5.602,87) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Master Paintings and Sculpture bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00.
