Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Vue De Marseille by Jean Rodolphe Gautier for EUR 2,960.00. This price was achieved in the auction Old Master and 19th Century Drawings at Artcurial and was even below the estimate range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jean Rodolphe Gautier - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A young girl, in white dress, her brown hair plaited and curled, which sold at auction in May 2004 for GBP 4,541.00 (€ 6,813.17).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Vue De Marseille von Jean Rodolphe Gautier für EUR 2.960,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Master and 19th Century Drawings bei Artcurial erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jean Rodolphe Gautier mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A young girl, in white dress, her brown hair plaited and curled beobachtet, die im Mai 2004 für GBP 4.541,00 (€ 6.813,17) versteigert wurde.
