Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled (Black and White Construction) by Jean Robert Ipoustéguy for USD 625.00 (€ 558.19). This price was achieved in the auction Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean Robert Ipoustéguy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ecbatane, 1965 in February 2007 with an auction result of EUR 104,824.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled (Black and White Construction) von Jean Robert Ipoustéguy für USD 625,00 (€ 558,19) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean Robert Ipoustéguy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ecbatane, 1965 im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 104.824,00.
