Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2007 Sothebys in New York held the auction Important Old Master Paintings and European Works of Art Including Property of the Albright-Knox Art Gallery, which included the work Diana And A Nymph Bathing by Jean Raoux. The price achieved of USD 22,800.00 (€ 16,863.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jean Raoux - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work L'incontro di Enea e Didone prima della caccia reale, which sold at auction in December 2001 for ITL 71,050,000.00 (€ 63,857.99).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2007 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Important Old Master Paintings and European Works of Art Including Property of the Albright-Knox Art Gallery durch, in der auch die Arbeit Diana And A Nymph Bathing von Jean Raoux zur Versteigerung kam.
