In March 2009 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work La chaleur by Jean-Pierre Alaux. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,062.50 (€ 1,145.75), 33% above the upper estimate. Other works by Jean-Pierre Alaux have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of EUR 1,500.00 in October 2008 for the work La brume aux faïences.

Im März 2009 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit La chaleur von Jean-Pierre Alaux zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.062,50 (€ 1.145,75) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Jean-Pierre Alaux haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von EUR 1.500,00 im Oktober 2008 für die Arbeit La brume aux faïences beobachtet.
